Licences.
EPA licences are in the process of changing to a new format. The previous system was over 30 years old and changes were needed to meet community expectations and current environmental challenges. The new system is simpler in appearance and in format, but the onus is now on the highest officer or CEO of the company to produce an Annual Performance Statement, which will be publicly available online. This must contain any annual usages, monitoring and modelling that may be necesssary to demonstrate compliance with licence conditions, SEPP and any community consultation issues.
The following information will help in preparation of the Annual Performance Statement and other issues relating to licences.
